POLYPTOPYLENE FILMS

DESCRIPTION

Polypropylene or PP is a low-cost thermoplastic of high clarity, high gloss and good tensile strength. PP can be metallized which results in improved gas barrier properties for demanding applications where long product shelf life is important.

APPLICATION

PP film used as carrier film for SMC process carrying the paste and glass to form into sheet. The film also acts to prevent chemical evaporation to preserve the SMC.

METALLIZED PET FILM

DESCRIPTION

Metallized films are polymer films coated with a thin layer of metal, usually aluminium. Metallized films are widely used for food & industrial packaging as preservative protector to prevent evaporation.

APPLICATION

Metallized PET film is used in packing of SMC. A layer of metallized PET film is lay on the SMC container covering from bottom, side to top section.
